A large flower planter and a satellite dish were among the objects pulled from the depths of the River Slea by volunteers on Sunday.

The Sleaford River Care group pulled on wellies and paddled out in their boat to also collect bottles, a desk fan and traffic cones from the river between the NCCD and Sleaford Leisure Centre as part of a collaboration between Anglian Water and Keep Britain Tidy to celebrate the United Nations World Rivers Day to highlight the beauty of local water courses.
