Families enjoyed time together joining in a festive crafts session at Sleaford library on the Saturday morning before Christmas.

Library team leader Kay Ablard explained there were stories and crafts: “The story was the Nativity and the children all made a Nativity in a box. The boxes were kindly donated by the Clarks shoe shop from around the corner on Bristol Arcade and we had 17 children take part, along with their parents.”

She said: “Everybody mucked in, helping and working with the children and it was lovely.”

She said the library normally holds an activity for children to ‘make and do’ during each school holiday and they particularly enjoyed this one.
