Firefighters join Santa on tour of the district

His helpers will be collecting donations for the Firefighters Charity when they visit your street.

Here are the routes he will taking.

Metheringham fire crew will be visiting Martin and Digby on Saturday December 17; Potterhanworth, Nocton and Dunston on Sunday December 18 and Metheringham on Friday December 23.

Billinghay firecrew will be visiting Timberland and Walcott - starting at Timberland at 5pm on Saturday December 17, Billinghay - starting in the marketplace at 5pm on Sunday December 18, Tattershall Bridge (5.30pm), South Kyme and North Kyme on Monday December 19.

Sleaford crew have got local schools to decorate their reindeer.

They thanked St Botolph’s, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Church Lane and William Alvey schools. They will be setting out each night at 5.30pm visiting Ruskington on Thursday December 15, Southfields, Hawthorn Drive and Oak Road on Friday December 16, Ancaster Drive, Hervey Road, Ickworth Road/Victoria Avenue/St Edmunds Road on Monday December 19, Clay Hill Road, Rookery Avenue and George Street on Tuesday December 20, St Giles Avenue, Milton Way, Russel Crescent, Stephens Way on Thursday December 22 and The Drove, North Parade, Stokes Drive, Winchester Way, Sycamore Drive and Jubilee Grove on Friday December 23.

Sleaford and District Lions will be bringing their sleigh with Santa to visit various points around town too.

The dates are: Dec 8 Southfields (Hawthorn Drive) area 5-7.30pm with Scouts; Dec 10 Four Seasons Garden Centre, Silk Willoughby Grotto 10am-4pm with Lionesses, Anwick Garden Centre Grotto 10am-3pm, Sainsbury’s 9am-3pm. Dec 11 Four Seasons Grotto 11am-3pm with Lionesses, Anwick Garden Centre Grotto 10am-3pm, Sainsbury’s 10am-3pm; Dec 13 Southfields (Oak Road) area 5-7.30pm with ATC; Dec 15 Northumbria Road area 5-7.30pm; Dec 17 Four Seasons Grotto 10am-4pm with Lionesses, Anwick Garden Centre Grotto 10am-3pm, Tesco 9am-4pm; Dec 18 Four Seasons Grotto 11am-3pm with Lionesses, Anwick Garden Centre Grotto 10am-3pm, Tesco 9.30am-4pm; Dec 21 Aiden Road area 5-7.30pm; Dec 24 Four Seasons 9am-12noon.
