The popular Day Of Lincolnshire Folk is returning to Leadenham in August with hundreds from across the county expected to attend.

Taking place at the George Hotel on August 2, from 11am until late, the event provides a platform for the talented regulars and offers great live music with a festival vibe.

With its humble origins, the folk festival has now become a full day’s event.

There will be concerts, sing-arounds, sessions, workshops and stalls.

The mini folk festival is now viewed by many as a regular and essential part of the Lincolnshire folk calendar.

It is described by organisers as ‘a cohesive celebration of the great talent in this beautiful county’.

Every year it features some of Lincolnshire’s many varied and talented musicians, giving a platform to both seasoned and up-and-coming performers.

The event is free and there will be a bar and restaurant service along with outside bars and a barbecue.
