Fire and rescue news.

Firefighters were called yesterday morning to a telehandler forklift on fire inside an industrial building on Sleaford Enterprise Park, off East Road.

The incident was reported just before 9am and the vehicle was completely destroyed in the fire. It was eventually put out by a Sleaford crew in breathing apparatus using a main jet, a hosereel and a PPV fan.

The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault on the telehandler.
