A former North Kesteven District councillor accused of child pornography offences made a further appearance before Lincoln Crown Court yesterday (Friday).

Ian Dolby , who is also a former Sleaford Town councillor, faces three charges of making indecent images of a child.

Dolby spoke only to confirm his name and no pleas were taken at today’s hearing.

Judge Simon Hirst adjourned the case for a further hearing to take place on 26 January. A provisional trial date has been set for August 2017.

Dolby ,51, of North Road, Sleaford, was granted bail on condition that he has no unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 17.

Dolby was an Independent councillor who represented the Sleaford Quarrington and Mareham Ward until he resigned in April 2014 citing pressure of work commitments.
