An innovative new education programme that uses friendly characters to deliver key safety messages to primary school pupils has been launched in the county.

PCSO Will Greetham has joined the Policing Family, as teh friendly face of the force, talking about such relevant issues as anti-social behaviour.

Louth PCSO Dean Warrilow devised the concept. He said: “PC Greetham’s character focuses on anti-social behaviour and through a classroom programme and an assembly presentation, children learn about the effects and consequences of ASB. The PC Greetham character is also used to deliver stranger awareness lessons to youngsters”.

Every Neighbourhood Policing Team in the county is able to deliver the programme and any school interested in finding out more should contact their local PCSO for further information. Contact 101 for details.
