More than a hundred children enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of activities at a Sleaford nature reserve last weekend.

Mareham Pastures, in Mareham Road, played host to the eighth annual Natural Activity Event last Saturday.

Organised by the Friends of Mareham Pastures, activities included planting wildflowers, snail identification and nature crafts.

Zoë Watson, chairman of the Friends of Mareham Pastures said: “This type of event is one way in which we can encourage local children and their parents to enjoy and become more involved with their local nature reserve.”
