Organisers report a great turn out for their country crafts day with over 400 visitors to Navigation House and Cogglesford Mill.

At Navigation House visitors could create their own canal art inspired designs painted on a ceramic coaster to take home for free.

They could also try their hand at willow weaving with local crafter Alison Walling of Lincolnshire Willow or have a go at making your own corn dolly with Angela Riley of Ceres Crafts of Billinghay at Cogglesford Mill. There were woodworking demonstrations by Alan Eley from Hill Holt Wood at the mill and Sonya Hundal from Greenfield Bakers was offering different types of bread to try as well as tips and advice on home baking.
