A group of staff and members from the 1Life gym on East Road in Sleaford held a charity day on Saturday May 7 to raise cash for the Make A Wish Foundation.

The charity has been chosen by the centre’s mud running team, Sleaford Spartans.

Duty manager Nathan Chambers (pictured) said they have already raised £385 with lots more sponsor money to come in. He completed a 100km static cycle ride, inviting people to guess his finishing time, which was two hours 54 minutes.

A boxercise class with guest instructor and Olympic swimmer Sophie Allen was popular and there were charity spinning and body pump sessions. A five-a-side football match was won by Beyern Neverlosen

On Saturday the team will be taking on the Tough Mudder in the grounds of Belvoir Castle.
