Brownies and Rainbow from 1st Wilsford group made these fun fashion outfits out of old copies of the Sleaford Standard.

Brownies and Rainbows from 1st Wilsford groups were all dressed up in fashions set to make the headlines, or should that be ‘made from headlines’?

The youngsters were challenged by their district commissioner, Bex Mezzo, to make a fashion outfit out of the Sleaford Standard. Bex said: “The girls had so much fun. Some newspaper, imagination, sticky tape and lots of ideas and noise later, the designs kept coming. Some of the outfits went home – they didn’t want to take them off – and others were recycled.”

Wilsford Brownies and Rainbows meet weekly. To join Rainbows (ages five to seven) and/or Brownies (ages seven to 10), call 0800 1695901 or go online at www.girlguiding.org.uk.
