Horbling man remains on hospital trust board

KEITH Brown has been re-appointed to the board of United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust for another four years

Mr Brown, from Horbling, has served on the board as a non-executive director since May 2008 but his first four-year term recently came to an end.

He was formerly the chief financial officer of the London Borough of Southwark and oversaw the spending of over £2bn per annum in the post. He also previously worked as an assistant audit manager for Deloitte Haskins and Sells and as an auditor for the District Audit Service in Kent, Sussex and London.

Mr Brown said: “I’m pleased to be re-appointed and am looking forward to helping the trust improve its services to the community still further.”

ULHT chairman Paul Richardson said: “We are extremely fortunate that Keith has agreed to take on another term as a non-executive director with the trust. He will contribute to the scrutiny of our organisation and help shape the future strategy in delivering excellent patient care to the people of Lincolnshire.”
