Now Unlimited, a Lincolnshire-based social enterprise, is undertaking research into the pressures and challenges faced by those working with children and young people.
Funded by Lincolnshire Council for Voluntary Youth Services, the research will help to determine the causes and effects of worker stress in the county by hearing the experiences of those working in the sector.
Research participants can complete an online survey or take part in a telephone interview or focus group as an opportunity to explore issues in more depth.
The results will form the basis of a report and will be published on the council’s website and on the Now Unlimited website.
A spokesman for Now Unlimited said: “High levels of stress in many workplaces are contributing to mental health problems, including stress and anxiety.
“There is good scientific evidence that mindfulness-based interventions can help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.”
