Paul Clarke, Home delivery driver for Sleaford’s Iceland store, happily delivered over £80 pounds worth of donations made by Iceland customers to the Sleaford community larder on Thursday.

Paul Shaw, duty manager at Iceland, had seen posts relating to the Community Larder on Facebook and decided it would be a great idea to allow customers to make donations at the store.

He said: “We are pleased to support the community larder and our wonderful customers have shown their Christmas spirit. Thank you to all who got involved.”

Anna Maltby said: “We are bowled over once again by everyone’s generosity.”

The Sleaford store has worked tirelessly to include their customers and staff in the festivities this year including having a flute player, a school choir, and characters from Frozen visit the store in the run up to Christmas.

William Alvey school choir came last week to sing Christmas carols outside the store to the delight of shoppers.
