Dismayed by blatant disregard of objections

EDITOR - I am totally dismayed by the blatant disregard that North Kesteven District Council showed for the valid objections of many Sleaford business people and residents.

I really can't see that the current proposals will benefit anyone except Tesco and the claim that 700 jobs could be on offer can only be a joke, not to mention the destruction of a beautiful green area off Boston Road.

As for suggesting that existing businesses in Sleaford will also benefit. Can anyone explain that?

I part own a business in town and, with the best will in the world, can't see how moving Tesco and building a new road will benefit my business - if anything, people will be going to Tesco, doing their shopping and then getting back in their cars and leaving town.

NKDC planning committee - you've made a big mistake.
