Event was a huge hit

EDITOR - The event at St George's College which featured Chris Farlowe with the Norman Beaker Band was a big hit.

This was not only due to the performers but also to the expert assistance from the sound man, Steve Hawkins (Steve also provided the same professional service for Jamie Cullum when he appeared at this venue in 2004), Tom Creasey, who was in control of the lighting, and all the helpers who contributed to the smooth running of the concert.

On behalf of Sleaford Music Promoters or Whatever (SMPoW), Debbie Scott, who ran the bar with her husband Gavin, and I would like to thank Peter and Sheila Wheeldon, Sue and Roger Cook and Carol and Chris Hall for their help. Thanks also to the college staff and caretakers for their co-operation and support.

The audience was very happy with the concert and many who had travelled from a long distance to be there had said the journey had been well worth it.
