LETTER: Sleaford Town Council is involved in Masterplan

NKDC response to: Alternative strategy for crossing dilemma – D.Birks letter, January 23, 2013.

It is concerning that a member of Sleaford Town Council felt the need to write to the local press suggesting that the Town Council is not a key player in the development and active delivery of the Sleaford Masterplan.

Sleaford Town Council have been actively involved in the development of the Masterplan and is a key member of the Sleaford Regeneration Group which involves other local partners in discussing the delivery opportunities for the future of the town, including traffic infrastructure, business support and improvement, and other regeneration/refurbishment projects.

Network Rail as a key stakeholder meets on a regular basis with NKDC to discuss future developments in the town area.

Sleaford Regeneration Group will always endeavour to involve and consult on opportunities and developments to the re-shaping of the town.
