Recycle your bunting for next event

EDITOR – After all the ‘jubilicious’ celebrations last weekend and a number of comments from local people who noticed that Sleaford wasn’t painted as red, white and blue as they would have hoped, a new initiative has been launched to recycle any unwanted bunting.

The idea is to collect any unwanted bunting over the summer in order to store it for use at a later stage by community groups through the town.

The call is, therefore, going out to everyone in Sleaford to drop off their bunting at various points in the town so that it can be put to good use in the future.

The drop-off points are Co-op in Holdingham, Gifted in Southgate, Tesco and the National Centre for Craft and Design (formerly The Hub).

Anyone who is interested in recycling their bunting and donating it to a good cause should simply take it along to one of these points.

So, come on Sleaford, let’s see how many miles of bunting we can collect by recycling it for a good cause in an environmentally friendly way.
