Show organisers to be commended

EDITOR - Congratulations to the organisers of Heckington Show.

I attended for the first time in many years, the last being when I was competing in the show jumping some 50 years ago.

How it has grown, the attendance was great and the stands were varied and interesting.

There was something there for everyone, lots for the children to do, plenty of food outlets and the entrance fee was very reasonable at £8.

I commend the organisers for their dedication and hard work that has made this show one of the best in the country.

I will certainly be paying a return visit next year as I enjoyed myself so much.
