Local celebrity Nora Hardwick has died at the age of 106.

Nora, who lived in Ancaster for much of her life, is well known for appearing as Miss November in a Calendar Girls style calendar at the Ermine Way pub in Ancaster aged 102, raising money for Ancaster Athletic football team which earned her fame across the pond, most notably an appearence on The Jay Leno Show. She was also a member of many village organisations.
