BREAKING NEWS - WOMAN, 82, HIT BY CAR AND SERIOUSLY INJURED

AN 82-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Billinghay this morning.

The incident happened at around 10.25am in a car park off High Street, Billinghay, where a green Ford Fusion collided with the woman, who was a pedestrian.

She was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham via air ambulance, where she is being treated for a serious head injury.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch with them via the non emergency 101 number, quoting incident number 144 of July 12.
