Cats need new home
ANYONE interested in giving a cat a loving new home can find out more by visiting a local vets next weekend.
Sleaford Cats Protection will be holding their first Homing Day to give members of the public the opportunity to meet some of the felines in their care.
Anybody interested in meeting some of the foster cats, or who would be interested in discussing the adoption process in general, are invited to come to the event on Saturday, February 18 from 2pm to 4pm at Quarrington Vets Surgery on London Road.
Ruth Philp of Cats Protection said: “The purpose of this event to give members of the public the opportunity to meet some of the fabulous felines in our care.
“Matthew Fry, of Quarrington Veterinary Surgery, has graciously allowed us to use his facilities to hold the event.”
Towards the end of last year, Cats Protection adopted 20 cats after their elderly owner died, which has now left them severely restricted for space.
They are appealing for anyone who thinks they could give a cat a new home to come along to the Homing Day.
