Melvyn Addis, 54, of Turner Street, Kirton Lindsey, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to two offences under the Transport Act, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on January 22.

The court was told how Addis admitted two counts of making a record or entry on a record sheet kept for the purposes of the Community Recording Equipment Regulation which he knew to be false.

The incidents both happened in Grimsby, the court heard.

One took place on April 24, 2015 and the other on April 29, 2015.

He has been fined £420 and ordered to pay £600 in costs.

Addis must also pay a £42 victim surcharge, the court was told.

Marc Olley

Marc Olley, 31, of Market Place, Brigg, has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to turn up for a hearing at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on January 22.

The court was told how Mr Olley is accused of failing to comply with the community requirements of a suspended sentence order and failing to comply with the requirements of post-custodial supervision.

The defendant allegedly failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order (made by North Lincolnshire Magistrates Court on December 29, 2015) by failing to attend appointments as instructed on December 29 and January 4 and allegedly failed to provide evidence for the failure within a specified time.

Mr Olley allegedly failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of post-custodial supervision in that on December 18 last year and January 4 and 6 this year he allegedly failed to keep in touch with his supervising officer and allegedly failedto provide evidence for the failure within a specified time.

Mr Olley has not yet entered a plea for either charge.

The case has been adjourned.

Allan Blackmore

Allan Blackmore, 29, of Brick Yard, Great Limber, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to two motoring offences, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on January 28.

The court heard how Blackmore drove a Nissan vehicle when he was more than two times over the legal limit.

A test showed Blackmore had 189 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the court was told.

He was banned from driving for 22 months and fined £140.

Blackmore was ordered to pay £60 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge, the court heard.

And Blackmore admitted driving without due care and attention, the court was told.

He was given no separate penalty for this offence.

Both incidents happened on the B1211 Brocklesby Road in Keelby on August 13 last year.

Stuart Anderson

Stuart Anderson, 54, of Thirsk Close, Market Rasen, has pleaded not guilty to a charge under the Criminal Justice Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on January 28.

The court was told how Mr Anderson is accused of assaulting a woman by beating her in Market Rasen on December 24 last year.

He denies this charge.

Mr Anderson is due to stand trial at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on April 18.

He has been given conditional bail until this date, the court heard.

The case has been adjourned.

Jamie Myhill

Jamie Myhill, 24, of Council House, Snarford, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to an offence under the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on January 28.

The court was told how My hill admitted fishing or taking fish ‘otherwise than in accordance with a licence by means of a rod and line’.

The incident happened at South Cliff Farm Fishery in Lincoln on June 14 last year, the court heard.

Myhill has been fined £80 and ordered the pay £127 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge, the court was told.

Amanda Coupland

Amanda Coupland, 38, of Market Place, Binbrook, has been sentenced for an offence under the Road Traffic Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on January 
27.

The court heard how Coupland had been charged with failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of an Audi vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

The court heard how the incident happened on April 17 last year.

The court was told the case was proved by magistrates in Coupland’s absence from court.

Coupland had not entered a plea.

She has been fined £660 and had her driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

Coupland must also pay £85 court costs.

The court was told how Coupland had also been accused of driving an Audi vehicle at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour in Cross O Cliff Hill, Lincoln on March 14 last year.

This charge has now been withdrawn, the court was told.

Coupland had not entered a plea.
