Patrols stepped up against ‘boy racers’

POLICE have been dealing with reports of trouble in villages near Sleaford in recent days.

Eggs were being thrown from a vehicle at an address in Manor Street, Ruskington at around 11.10pm on Friday night.

Anyone with information about this incident should call 101.

On Thursday night at about 7.45pm, there were complaints of four vehicles racing around Fitzwilliam Place in Billinghay.

Officers are actively patrolling the Billinghay area to combat anti-social behaviour and will be issuing official letters and warnings to the owners of the vehicles.

l TWO burglaries have been reported in villages near Sleaford over the last week.

The first was on Howell Road in Heckington, which happened during the day on Tuesday, September 18. The second was on Friday, September 21 on Laundon Road, Threekingham between 10am and 7pm.

l POLICE are investigating an incident of hare coursing on Wood Lane, South Kyme. They are looking for a green Subaru Legacy, registration number X407 VYJ. Should anyone see this vehicle they are asked to call Lincolnshire Police on 101.
