Police appeal after thieves make off with haul of power tools sheds in Ruskington and Digby

Thieves have smashed locks to get into farm buildings in Ruskington and stolen a haul of hand and power tools as a spate of break ins on secluded sheds continues.

Lincolnshire Police received a report of the theft from a farm on Anwick Lane End, Ruskington believed to have happened between 8.20pm on April 26 and 7am the next morning.

PCSO Nic Page of Sleaford Rural North Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “A high number of hand and power tools were taken, including cutting disks, power washer, Bosch angle grinder, Bosch drill and drill bits, and jigsaws.

“If anyone was a witness to this crime or seen any persons or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area between these dates and times please call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 201 of 27/4/16.”

Police have also received a number of reports of thefts from the allotments on Station Road, Digby.

Incidents were reported between the April 30 and May 2 when a number of sheds and containers were broken into and items taken including lawn mowers, rotivators and tools.
