JAMES Broderick, owner of The Little Italy Pizza Co. in Money’s Yard, Sleaford found himself on the receiving end of a proposal on Wednesday evening, but by whom remains a mystery.

When he came into work that evening, he was alerted to an unusual array of Post-It notes stuck to the sign on the outside of his premises, proclaiming the sticker’s love for his pizzas.

The Post-Its read: “Hi, your pizzas are really nice. I probably like them too much! (there are probably more conventional ways of telling you but what the hell) You can’t half cook! Marry me?”

James said: “I’ve got no idea who it could be, but it’s certainly generated some good publicity!”

The smitten Post-It sticker has not yet been identified and James said that his girldfriend Abi has, now, seen the funny side.

l If any readers can shed any light on who James’ pizza making admirer is, or if the proposer would like to own up, email rachel.grafton@jpress.co.uk
