Pupils' catapults in mint condition

Monday, 3.45pm. YEAR 6 children at Rauceby Primary School had a great time designing and building working catapults during their annual K'Nex Challenge.

The finished catapults were tested when they competed in a firing challenge, using imperial mints as ammunition.

Prizes were awarded for the best design and the most functional.

Year 6 teacher Richard Thomas said: "The children really enjoyed the day and it was a good opportunity for them to use their practical skills."
