Raising a glass of beer to our patron saint
The festival ran from Thursday to Sunday with around 20 different beers available for drinkers.
The Thursday night was a sponsors’ evening which proved very popular and Tony Dixon from the Rotary club said the beers were all very tasty.

He said: “We had a very busy Saturday including a live band in the afternoon and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.
“We expect to make over £7,000 which will be used to help out local charities as well as Rotary’s main aim of eradicating polio worldwide.”
Beers on sale for ale fans to sample included offerings from breweries such as Poachers, Milestone, Cathedral, Shardlow, Wentworth and Grafters – plus a selection of ciders and lagers.
Next year’s festival will again be held over the St George’s Day weekend.
