Road blocked by two vehicle collision at Holdingham

The incident was reported by police at about 9.12am this morning (Friday) outside the Esso petrol station at the junction of teh A17 and A15.

The road was said to be blocked and occupants suffered minor injuries, according to police, but one man attended hospital to be checked over.

The road is now clear.

In a separate incident the AA reported the A17 blocked both ways between the High Dyke at Cranwell and Newark shortly before 5.30am this morning due to an overturned lorry shedding its load of timber.

The traffic news site stated it was closed for recovery work between Long Hollow Way and Drove Lane near Newark.
