Santa’s suitcase is full thanks to Co-op clients

Co-op Travel, Sleaford staff handing over presents to Home Start.

A Sleaford-based charity has received a sackful of Christmas cheer from the town’s branch of Co-op Travel.

Over the last few weeks, the staff encouraged their customers to bring a small gift into their shop which would then be placed into Santa’s Suitcase and donated to a good cause in town, which received a huge response with dozens of presents donated.

Last week the staff presented Veronica Chitty, Shirley Garlick and Linda Nixon, representatives from HomeStart in Sleaford, with an assortment of presents, which they will now be able to pass on to struggling families who need extra support.
