Billingborough Primary School, Jubilee street party on the playground. Snowflakes group.

STREET parties and celebration events for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee were held all over Sleaford and the surrounding district over the Bank Holiday weekend and schools got involved too before they broke up for half term.

Pictured here we have Billingborough Primary School children joining in a massive street party stretching the length of the playground last Wednesday.

The Snowflakes class are seen here nearest the camera wearing the crowns they created themselves.

l See next week for an eight-page pull-out on the area’s jubilee events including more schools’ celebrations.
