Snow updates

The following schools in the Sleaford and surrounding areas are closed due to the adverse weather conditions:

- Cranwell primary school

- Leadenham primary school

- Digby C of E primary school

- Digby Tedder

- Leasingham St Andrew’s

- Metheringham primary school

- Ropsley primary school

- Pointon St Gilbert’s

North Kesteven District Council and South Kesteven District Council will not be collecting refuse today, and details of contingency plans will be found on both council’s websites.

Lincolnshire Police have reported a number of minor incidents on the roads, including a collision on the A17 at Cranwell this morning which caused long tailbacks, as well as minor collisions on the A15 between Sleaford and Lincoln as road conditions were treacherous first thing this morning.

East Midlands Trains reported that services through Sleaford were running about 30 minutes late and it was slow progress on all the roads into town this morning.
