Students go that extra mile for charity
PUPILS from Carre's Grammar School held a static cycle marathon in aid of LIVES First Responders.
In support of the charity exploits of six Lincolnshire policemen who cycled across the Pyrenees for LIVES, pupils at the Sleaford grammar school took part in the event.
Four students and teacher Steve Lord took turns on the bike to raise as much money as possible for the first responders.
Mr Lord said: "We raised about 370 outside the school and did a very similar event at the Lincolnshire Show and hope to have easily smashed the 500 barrier for the LIVES charity."
