Thieves cut their way into farmyard at Horbling Fen to steal trailer

This is believed to have happened sometime between 4pm on Saturday and 8am Sunday thieves got into an isolated farm storage yard by cutting the hinges off one of the galvanised gates, pulling it back leaving the chain and padlock untouched, then on leaving pushing the gate back into place.

PCSO Sandra Brommell of Bourne and Billingborough Neighbourhood Policing Team said the thieves then broke into a large, secure wooden shed by attacking the boards around the lock. They then stole the trailer which was displaying the registration plate of FX02 0BL. They also took the trailer sides which were not on the trailer at the time.

PCSO Brommell said: “If you recall seeing this trailer during these times or can assist police further, please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 89 of 17/04/2016.”
