The charity is the chosen cause by the centre’s own mud running team, called Sleaford Spartans, made up of 10 staff and members that attend the gym based on East Road.

Duty manager Nathan Chambers said there will be several classes taking place, a cake stall, and he will be doing a 100km cycle at the site for sponsorship and inviting people to guess his finishing time.

Nathan said: “This is an event to help boost the charity money raised before we all complete Tough Mudder at Belvoir on May 21.”

This saturday there will be various fundraising activities including spinning from 9.30am-10.15am, Body Pump from 10.30am-11.15am and a boxercise class with guest instructor and Olympic swimmer Sophie Allen from 11.30am-12.15pm.

Nathan added: “Please donate on the day or come down to the site to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake and take part in the competitions.”

There will be a cake stall, a Hang Tough competition at 50p a go and a closest to the bottle coin toss for 50p a go.

They will also have a five a side football tournament (£2 per person) and you can enter a team by calling the gym on 01529 304770.
