Four cars and two houses were damaged after an arson attack on a street in Sleaford.

Fire and police crews were called to New Street at around 3am this morning (Wednesday) after a BMW M3 Cabriolet was set alight. The BMW was severely damaged by fire, and there was severe heat damage to a Renault Clio parked in the vicinity.

There was also moderate heat damage to a Mercedes C220 and a Peugot 207, as well as heat damage to the front doors of two properties and the windows of one house nearby.

Fire crews have confirmed that the BMW was set alight deliberately. Lincolnshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to call them on 101 quoting incident number 23 of November 14.
