Youngsters at a village primary school near Sleaford have been very busy up until the end of term performing a staggering five Christmas plays.
Each class in Kirkby La Thorpe Primary School put on a different play for parents and families, explained head teacher Katie Bartle.
Reception and year one class did a traditional nativity play retelling the Christmas story. The year one and two class did a slightly different twist with A Present For The Baby. Year three and four class performed Twas the Week before Christmas, while Silent Night was the show by the year four and five class.
Finally, year six pupils put on the school pantomime Aladdin. The cast of the show is pictured here.
Children sang solos, duets and there was a trio on guitars. Some rang handbells. The plays were performed over the space of a number of sessions for different year groups and all in the school hall.
Mrs Bartle said: “It shows the range of talents our pupils have, as well as the teachers who wrote the plays and tweaked them with local information.
