Woman taken to hospital with ‘neck injuries’ after three vehicle crash on A17

An accident just outside Sleaford has resulted in a woman going to hospital for ‘neck injuries’.

The accident was called in to police at just after 7.30am, on the slip-road off the A17 near the rugby club.

It involved a Renault traffic van from Sleaford, a Nissan Qashqai from Ruskington and a Vauxhall Vectra from Sleaford.

A police spokesman said the Renault and the Nissan had to be recovered and a female was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with ‘neck injuries’ although he said it didn’t look like ‘particularly serious injuries’.

The road was cleared by 9.15am.
