A HOME grown spoof of the big budget Star Wars movies that have filled cinemas across the globe for the last few years is set to be premiered near Sleaford.

The Emperor's New Clones was filmed by Backyard Productions last year at RAF Waddington.

Some of the members of Cranwell Amateur Theatrical Society took part in the film.

Backyard Productions is an amateur film production company with a base in Lincoln.

They have produced a number of short sketches, several Star Trek 'parody' radio series, a Boy Band song, and this is the grandest thing yet - their fourth full length movie.

The world premiere will be held on September 9 at Whittle Hall, RAF Cranwell.

The event starts at 7pm with the film being shown at 8pm.

Tickets are free, but audiences will be invited to give donations to the charity UNICEF. The premiere will include music from a live band, refreshments, displays showing how 'TENCLO' was achieved, documentaries and an after-show party.

If you would like to book a seat, contact the box-office on 01522 565882 (weekdays, 9am – 4pm).
