A charity single and music video featuring talent from the Sleaford area has attracted high-profile and large-scale support in its bid for the coveted Christmas Number One spot.

1914 - The Carol of Christmas, which features RAF College Cranwell’s Fl Lt Matt Little as part of an ensemble of military voices, is currently on the BBC Radio Two playlist. Meanwhile, the video, which was directed and produced by Greg Goodall of Wellingore’s AWOL Productions, has been watched more than 70,000 times online and won support from the likes of Bear Grylls, Stephen Fry, Sir Clive Woodward and Sir Terry Wogan.

Proceeds from the single’s sale go to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and the RAF Benevolent Fund.
