He is a black and white “Sprocker” and is very nervous, says PCSO Any Michie of Sleaford Neighbourhood Policing Team

In the latest update today, a dog matching Jack’s description was seen running from A52 towards Ropsley village yesterday evening (Monday). A car followed at a safe distance while calling police but the dog panicked panic and turned back to the crossroads with the A52 at Ropsley/Welby.

Several people have been out looking in the large area covered with long grass, hedges, woods, fields of crops, a quarry and the busy road.

People are asked to be vigilant and look out for him in the villages of Ropsley, Welby, Haceby, Braceby, Oasby, Aisby, Heydour, Dembleby, Osbournby And Newton.

Local farmers and police are aware and if you or friends see the dog, phone the location in rather than approach or try to chase. Vets locally will also be updated.
