NOstalgia - Quarrington School's harvest festival 1991

Continuing with our recent theme of harvest festival celebrations, we have pupils of the old Quarrington Infants School with their mountain of tins, fruit and vegetables.

The harvest festival would have been at the old school on Grantham Road in Sleaford, back in 1991.

The youngsters were showing off just how much they had collected before donating the produce. Can you recognise the pupils in the picture?

We were also contacted about the previous week’s photo of produce being handed out to elderly folk by Walcott School pupils. Linda Prue recognised her grandmother, Grace Sleaford. She lived until she was 100, remaining in the village all her life.
