Police are appealing for information after a crash on a lane just off the A15 Lincoln to Sleaford road.

Officers we were called to a single vehicle RTC at Metheringham Heath Lane, Nocton, at 4.20pm yesterday (Sunday).

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue attended to release one male casualty from a black Renault Clio and a road closure was put in place at the A15/B1202 just before 5pm.

This was later removed at about 9.30pm.

A man in his 20s was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment of what police described as ‘serious injuries’ and remains in hospital.

Ewan Gell, Senior Investigating Officer, says: “If you were travelling on the B1202 at this time and think you saw this Renault Clio heading from the A15 towards Metheringham, please call us on 101 if you haven’t done so already, quoting incident 293 of 21 August.”
