North Kesteven District Council chairman Jon Money will be back out tomorrow (Wednesday) working with the authority’s fly-tip clearance crew for charity.

In a continuation of his time on the refuse lorry rounds to raise money for his chosen charity for his year of office, St Barnabas Hospice Lincolnshire, he will spend time responding to fly-tipping cases.

North Kesteven is the county’s most proactive district council in the way it responds, clears, investigates and prosecutes against fly-tipping.

Earlier in the month he spent the day emptying domestic recycling and garden waste bins as well as litter and dog bins.

By putting his back into it 73-year-old Coun Money has raised more than £7,000.

And there is still chance to support him in his endeavours by making donations through in a number of ways:

In person, if you see him.

By cheque payable to NKDC via the council offices in Sleaford.

By debit card, calling on 01529 308220.
