NKDC Conservative group elect new leader
The ruling Conservative group on North Kesteven District Council have elected a new leader to replace Coun Marion Brighton who stepped down this month.
Local ward member Coun Sally Tarry reported on Monday night at Heckington Parish Council that the Conservative group have appointed executive board member Coun Richard Wright as their group leader.
North Kesteven District Council as a whole will elect its new Leader at an extraordinary meeting of the full council tomorrow (Thursday) at 5pm. That person will select the Executive Board to work alongside them.
