Enthusiastic volunteers are needed to join North Kesteven District Council’s tourism team.

Proud to champion tourism, NKDC supports four visitor centres in the district, offering a unique experience for all ages.

Open to the public all year round, each venue has a distinctive story linking the site to local history, giving people the opportunity to learn about their local heritage.

An NKDC spokesman said: “Working within the visitor venues, you will provide excellent customer service creating a memorable experience for all visitors.

“You will have the opportunity to learn new skills including heritage skills such as milling and traditional ironworking, and gain experience in a customer service environment. Opportunities are available at Cogglesford Watermill, Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre, Navigation House and Welbourn Forge.

“You will be a part of a hardworking team committed to delivering results, promoting tourism wherever possible and attracting new visitors to the district. There are no minimum hours required and times can be flexible.”

Volunteers must be aged 17 and over.
