Senior teachers from schools in Sleaford and Ruskington were given an insight into the charity work of Rotary at a meeting held at the Finch-Hatton Arms in Ewerby.
They were welcomed by Mike Yarram, president of the Rotary Club of Sleaford Kesteven. The aim of the session was to introduce the teachers to what Rotary does and to find out what the organisation could do for them.
Mr Yarram pointed out that there is already an Interact Club (a junior version of Rotary) at the Ruskington St George’s Academy site and it is hoped that another may be forming soon in Sleaford.
