Members of the Sleaford Town Local Community Panel would love to get to know you and have invited you to their next meeting.

Sleaford policing team are organising a special one-off event for residents to meet them and the members of the Sleaford Town Local Community Panel.

The meeting will take place from 7.15pm to 8.15pm on Monday November 23 at The Source, Riverside Church on Southgate in Sleaford.

The public meeting of the Local Community Panel, which involves police and local authorities as well as residents, takes place every three months to consider issues and set local priorities.

Sleaford PCSO Neil Atkinson said: “We’re really keen to get as many people involved in this meeting as possible because the more input we have from residents, the more informed our decisions will be about the local area.

“The issues we discuss can be anything that is having an adverse impact on the community’s wellbeing and residents are welcome to bring anything to the table. Everyone is welcome and we are looking forward to the chance of meeting people from differing backgrounds, of different ages, ethnicities, faith groups and sexual orientation. Please do take this opportunity to get to know us better, and vice versa.”

He added: “We will also be looking for volunteers (for the panel) from across the different communities within Sleaford, including Holdingham, Quarrington and Greylees.

“If you are interested please do come along to the meeting.”
