A group of staff from a Sleaford convenience store will be pulling on their dressing gowns to raise cash for a good cause.
Staff at the Spar shop on Grantham Road are planning to put on their nightgear for a ‘Onesie Walk’ to raise money for the NSPCC.
Organised by Jeanette Sims and Eleanor Barron, the staff will be setting off at midday on Monday, September 7, from the store to walk from one end of town to the other, to arrive at the other Spar shop in Sleaford at Hockmeyer’s Garage in Holdingham before making the return journey.
Eleanor said: “A bunch of us from Grantham Road Spar have decided to raise funds for the very worthy cause NSPCC.
“We will making ourselves look like idiots for a good cause. Please help us reach or hopefully exceed our target of £500. Every single penny is appreciated.”
Jeanette said: “If you wish to get behind us and help us raise a lot of money for a good charity, feel free when you are in store again to sponsor us.”
