A spicy dish at a Sleaford restaurant is set for a starring role on a new TV series starting tomorrow (Friday, October 24).

The Widower will be appearing on homes across the country as part of Hot and Dangerous.

Presented by stand-up comedian, actor and writer Omid Djalili, the show is a new extreme food series which looks at the culture and chemistry behind some of the hottest, most dangerous foods in Britain.

The Widower, as created by Muhammed Karim, of the Bindi Restaurant, in Sleaford, is among the dishes set to put Omid’s taste buds to the test across two episodes.

The first in the series is being shown on Quest at 9pm tomorrow.

To mark the occasion, free samples of the The Widower will be available at the Bindi Restaurant, in Southgate, from 8pm tomorrow, where the show will also be screened.
